1. Prepare work surface by covering it with plastic wrap or wax paper. If you will need to move the hearts to another area to dry, tape the plastic wrap or wax paper onto a large piece of heavy cardboard so you can easily move the heart when finished.

1. Using Pattern A and the serrated knife, cut 3" hearts from foam sheet. (Hint: For smoother cuts, wax the knife blade with an old candle.) Or, make hearts by pressing cookie cutter into foam sheet. Smooth rough edges with a scrap of foam.

1. Cut dowel into four 3" lengths (arms) and four 4" lengths (legs). Sand rough edges. Cut two 1 1/2" balls in half (feet). Cut a 9" x 6 3/4" oval from 1" foam sheet (base).

1. Wax knife blade with old candle. Cut small slice from wide end of egg so it will stand. Twist 2-1/2" ball against narrow end of egg until they fit together tightly; glue together with low temperature glue.

Luscious Valentine's Day Cookie Wreath

1. Reinforce wreath ring: trace wreath ring twice on poster board, cut out rings and glue to each side of ring. Twist ends of floral wire together and tie around wreath for hanger.

1. 1. Cut red ribbon as follows: � 12" glue across top of basket handle � 34" glue around rim of basket � Two 1-1/3 yd. lengths � make two bows, each with six 2" loops, two 3" tails and a center; glue a bow to handle on each side of basket.
