American Bulldog
( Added: Fri Sep 06 2002 Hits: 254)
|
The self-assured American bulldog is alert, outgoing, and friendly with family members and others accepted by the family, but is wary of strangers and may be
aggressive toward other dogs.
It gets along with children and other animals, including cats, if socialized with them at an early age. Obedience training should also begin early, as American
bulldogs can be very stubborn. |

Bullmastiff
( Added: Fri Sep 06 2002 Hits: 251)
|
Bullmastiffs are fearless and confident, yet docile. They are reliable, intelligent, and have a natural instinct to guard their families.
Early obedience training is essential for these powerful, active, and stubborn dogs. Games like tug-of-war and wrestling are not recommended. If socialized,
bullmastiffs accept strangers and are affectionate and patient with children and other animals in their family.
They will not, however, tolerate trespassers. Some are heavy droolers. |
