VENISON MEATBALLS

DEER MEATBALLS

Combine all ingredients except shortening; mix well. Shape mixture into balls about 2 inches in diameter. Fry in hot shortening until brown on all sides and well done. Serve with catsup or gravy. V.V.A. Chapter 266

Shape into small balls. Brown in melted shortening. Sprinkle with remainder of envelope of onion soup mix, cover with water and simmer approximately 1 hour. Add more water if necessary. Serve with rice. Good alone as an appetizer. Yield: 4 servings.

VENISON MEATBALLS

Mix ingredients into the ground meat. Make balls and flatten some and fry in skillet, turn. When done, pour 1 cup water over the meatballs. Pour one can beefy mushroom soup over the meatballs. Cover, simmer until meat and gravy is hot. Serve soon. MM - good! Beef hamburger can be substituted for venison.

VENISON MEATBALLS

Crumble bread slices coarsely; combine with milk and baking powder in mixing bowl. Let stand for 5 minutes. Add venison, onion, salt and seasoning salt to bread mixture; mix well. Shape into balls. Brown in small amount of flat in skillet; stir to brown on all sides. Place meatballs in baking dish. Combine soup with milk; blend well. Pour soup mixture over meatballs; top with potato chips. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
